Pak Khlong Talat is a large fresh market and a major hub for flowers that are both abundant and inexpensive. Flowers sold here are imported from abroad as well as sourced from various regions within Thailand. The market offers both fresh and dried flowers. It also features spots for strolling and photo-taking with charming corners throughout the area.

History of Pak Khlong Talat:
In the past, Pak Khlong Talat was a large fish market. Boats car ying seafood would travel from Tha Chin (Samut Sakhon) via paddle boats through the Bangkok Yai Canal and unload at Pak Khlong Talat. During the reign of King Rama V, a royal decree was issued to move the market to the area of Wo Lamphong (present-day Hua Lamphong).

This market is also located near the Memorial Bridge (Saphan Phut). After purchasing flowers, visitors can walk to the bridge to take photos with the Chao Phraya River as a scenic backdrop. It’s a beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset and admire the surrounding temples.
